THE FLOURISHING LIFE
NEW SERIES BEGINS 4.12.26
ARE YOU READY FOR A SERMON THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE?
THE FLOURISHING LIFE
Connecting to the Upside-Down Wisdom of Jesus
What if the good life is not found where we usually look for it?
What if blessing is not found in power, comfort, success, wealth, or self-promotion—but in humility, mercy, purity, peace, generosity, and trust in God?
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus paints a surprising picture of what it means to flourish. His vision is beautiful, compelling, and often completely upside down from the values of our world.
Beginning April 12, join us for an 18-week journey through Matthew 5–7 as we explore the most famous sermon ever preached. Together, we will discover how Jesus invites us into a different kind of life—a life rooted in the Kingdom of God.
Whether you are exploring faith for the first time, returning to church after a long time away, or looking to go deeper in your walk with Christ, this series is for you.
The Sermon on the Mount addresses real questions we all wrestle with:
- How do I find happiness and purpose?
- What do I do with anger, anxiety, lust, and conflict?
- How should I think about money and possessions?
- What does it look like to pray?
- How do I love difficult people?
- What kind of foundation am I building my life on?
Jesus does not simply offer information. He offers a way of life.
WHY THE FLOURISHING LIFE?
The word “flourishing” describes the kind of life God created us for—a life of wholeness, joy, purpose, peace, and deep connection with God and others.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus shows us that true flourishing often comes through what seems upside down:
- The poor in spirit are blessed
- The meek inherit the earth
- The merciful receive mercy
- Peacemakers are called children of God
- Those who lose their lives for Christ find them
The Kingdom of God turns our assumptions upside down so that our lives can be turned right side up.
INVITE SOMEONE
The Sermon on the Mount speaks to the deepest longings of the human heart. This is a great series to invite a friend, coworker, neighbor, or family member who is searching for meaning, peace, hope, or direction.
Join us beginning Sunday, April 12, as we discover together what it means to live The Flourishing Life.
